Techo International Airport - KTI
Techo International Airport is Cambodia’s newest main international gateway, located approximately 20 kilometres south of Phnom Penh. It will serve as the country’s primary airport, connecting the Kingdom to the region and the world. Spanning 2,600 hectares, it will be among the largest airports in the world and is expected to accommodate up to 15 million passengers annually in its first phase.
Project Goals
The gradual opening of Techo International Airport, located in Phnom Penh, marks a major step in the development of Cambodia’s aviation infrastructure. Designed to become the country’s main hub, the airport aims to accommodate up to 50 million passengers annually in the long term, with an initial capacity estimated at 13 million travelers upon its full commissioning scheduled for September 2026.
This large-scale project is part of a national strategy to strengthen regional and global connectivity. It spans more than 2,600 hectares and includes modern infrastructures, cargo terminals, commercial zones, and premium food service offerings.
